Exclusive Cover Reveal: Fault Line by Christa Desir

I am SO excited to be bringing you guys the cover to Christa Desir's 2013 debut novel Fault Line. But before I do my gushing, I bring you guys this, because oh my god YAY:

Uhhh. Yeah. There is SO MUCH I love about this cover. The color scheme, the simplicity of the font and letters, and just how eye catching the lighter and the sparks coming off it are. This is one of those covers that seems so  simple, yet has such power behind it, not to mention, I think it is going to look stunning on the shelf once this book finally comes out.

And if you're not sure what this one is about, don't worry! I've got you covered. Because oh, man, this is a book that has been on my radar since it sold... and it's hitting shelves 11/12/13 (what a fun date!) from Simon Pulse, so talk about a crazy wait, but I highly suspect it will be beyond worth it.

So. Summary:

Ben could date anyone he wants, but he only has eyes for the new girl — sarcastic free-spirit, Ani. Luckily for Ben, Ani wants him too. She’s everything Ben could ever imagine. Everything he could ever want.

But that all changes after the party. The one Ben misses. The one Ani goes to alone.

Now Ani isn’t the girl she used to be, and Ben can’t sort out the truth from the lies. What really happened, and who is to blame?

Ben wants to help her, but she refuses to be helped. The more she pushes Ben away, the more he wonders if there’s anything he can do to save the girl he loves.

Basically, I expect this one to test me, and hurt me, and make me ache and probably break me, but also be so incredibly impacting and memorable. Not to mention how many questions this summary raises, and that nagging wonder of oh, crap, what if he can't save her? So, basically, dark twisty romance filled with pain... ie, a Kari kind of book!

If you haven't done so yet, go add this one to Goodreads, and join me in the wait for it's release! Also, be sure to find Christa on twitter, because she is awesome and one of those writers who amazes me with all they do and is just a blast to chat with.
